How long does it take to set up?
Technically about 2 minutes, but we recommended spending good quality time preparing, populating and communicating the system to the organisation and partners. After all this is a change to how staff purchase and dispose of resources, forever.
There is no staff time to run the programme
A bare minimum of 30 mins a month is required to manage the system. However, the system makes huge time gains on purchase order reductions, disposal times and improved movement of goods through an organisation- and so if more time is invested more time is saved. We have seen other clients use the evidence from Warp It to make the business case to invest in more time and space resource.
Who is responsible for making sure items are safe?
As part of the T&Cs the recipient is responsible for checking items are safe to use and the system can also help control this. There are also several control mechanisms in place to reduce risk.
How are items transported?
The system can integrate with existing task management systems or the existing method of transporting assets.
Are there any legal issues?
The legal issues of liability, safety and waste are dealt with by the system. Each transaction is monitored for audit and legal purposes and each party understands what is expected.
Will we lose control of our assets?
No there are many control features which means assets are better controlled than they are now. Internal staff are always prioritised over external and external sharing can be turned off or on, and certain partners preferred over others.
